Why Prometheus Inc.

Disasters and emergencies happen all around us every day. Devastation from storms, fires, hostile people and a myriad of others have left thousands of people stranded and feeling alone. With Prometheus, Inc, we can help spread awareness and preparedness of emergencies, as well as growing our community so that no one is left feeling alone when they need help the most. 

Who participates?

Teams are formed from local heroes from Fire, Police, EMS, and Search & Rescue departments from various cities in the valley, including Phoenix, Glendale, Peoria, Chandler and more.

What benefits do volunteers and board members receive?

By joining us, you’ll gain hands-on experience in community engagement, event planning, and nonprofit management. Volunteers and board members become part of a passionate team dedicated to honoring our first responders, and you’ll have the opportunity to contribute directly to improving public safety and emergency preparedness in our community.

How are donations and sponsorships used?

All funds raised through donations and sponsorships help cover event costs such as venue rental, equipment, staffing, and marketing. Any surplus revenue is reinvested into our educational programs and donated to participating emergency service departments, ensuring that every contribution supports our mission to enhance community safety and civic pride.

Can I donate without needing to join?

Absolutely – we welcome all forms of support! If you'd prefer to donate financially rather than volunteer your time, your contribution would be greatly appreciated. Donations help cover essential event costs, from venue and equipment to supporting our first responders and educational initiatives. Every dollar makes a real difference in bringing our mission to life and supporting our local heroes.
